Hello

I am trying to upgrade my 1602W to 20 amps per side. The problem I am having is with the power cords. I am using 12 ga 20 amp cords. I have tried everything I can think of but can't get the hot and neutral wires into the screw down connectors. The the wire is just to thick. How do I go about doing this?
