Oh yeah, I almost forgot... Lidge's title is no longer "Closer" It's now "Spoiler" I think they should make him pitch from 3rd base so he knows where to go when Damon's on base somewhere...

Yes, to the delight of my Minnesota friends, the MinPacks won pretty impressively.  But don't worry - every year since I've lived in Minnesota I've seen them rip their fans' hearts out somewhere along the way and I don't expect this year to be any different.

Lidge was pretty useless once Damon got to third base, wasn't he?  If Tex was adept at hitting to the opposite field he could have driven one down the third base line and run around the bases twice before anyone got to the ball.  Lidge is some closer alright - afraid to throw his best pitch when the game is on the line.  The Yanks are firing on only half their cylinders and it still looks pretty bad for the Phils...
