I have one controller connected to my pc and working fine.
I have just recieved 2 more controllers and want to add them "in line".
When I read the tutorial, it says that the second controller has a switch(dial) in it that must be turned to "2". (and same for #3).
Question 1: Where in the world is this dial? I cannot find it in the controller anywhere.
Question 2: I have the Cat 5 cable coming from my PC to controller 1.
Do I remove it from Controller 1 and then plug it into Controller 2 and then config #2 ? Once that is done, do I then do the same thing for Controller #3?
After doing that, do I then put the Cat 5 cable from the PC back into #1 controller, and then daisy chain the other 2 controllers to #1?
Sorry if this all sounds confussing, but I am a very confused person right now.
having a dial or not depends on which controller you actually have. If it does not have a dial, then I believe you are correct with the latter statement.
What was posted above is correct for PC controllers. The order in which you daisy chain controllers matters not, but you must configure the one at a time.
