I'm a long way away in Kingsville.  I went to TCU for 2 years so I happen to know where Forney is.

This is my first year with LOR, and I am having a blast(16 channels also).  So far I have 20 songs (9 in my Kids Show).  I haven't even seen my shows live yet, but I'm looking to expand :D

Looking at the videos posted by other members to see what they have done is very dangerous to your budget hahahahahahaha!

Santabob,

We are in Rowlett and right down the road from Big Red's little town of Forney.  I think there is one other extreme Christmas decorator in Forney as well and a newbie in Rockwall this year.

Welcome to jungle.

Charles

Last year I used 3,486 channels.  This year I cut it down to 2,026 because video will be the main feature of the display.   I use a bunch of DMX stuff that eats up channels.

Hey Santabob Im here in Houston. We ar planning a Work Party for November 7 in Jersey Village it will start at 10am and go till the last person leaves or midnight which ever comes first. This is part of Lone Star Holidays and is open to anyone Check us out at http://www.lone-star-holidays.com/

Im sure you can find others in or close to your location and become friends too. We do meetings and

Jersey Village is just outside Houston if you or anyone else would like information on the work party please email or PM me. A work Party s where you bring your projects in to work on. This can include nearly anything you want to work on or do your programming. There will be food and lots of fun too.

Waco Texas here...also first year. Have the Halloween display all ready. 32 channels.

Not sure if there is anyone else close to me. Only one house I have seen with LOR in the entire area.

Been playing with the Halloween seq's for a month and am ready to see it all in action (Next Weekend).

Then will start on Christmas display. already have about 10 songs seq'ed.

Good luck

Bart
